Quick thoughts

Both of these lights are strong lights with very high outputs. The Shield is the brightest tail light that I am aware of on sale in New Zealand. Both offer solid run time for road cycling and commuting. If you are looking at a front light for mountain biking I’d look elsewhere but for all other tasks they are both great.
