Cleaning your jockey wheels

Caring for the chain on your bike may be limited to just putting some lube on the chain from time to time. But like all mechanical things they do like some love from time to time and this includes a cycle’s drivetrain.

If you do get around to cleaning your chain, it is a a great idea to take a little bit of extra time to clean the jockey wheels. Servicing or cleaning your jockey wheels that are part of your rear dérailleur is a fairly simple process to do yourself – the video above shows you how!
